Sirius Petroleum plc is an oil development company. The Company focuses on seeking participation in a marginal oil and gas field. As of October 10, 2011, the Company focused on oil and gas exploration and development opportunities in Nigeria. As of October 10, 2011, the Company had entered into a financial and technical services agreement (FTSA) with Owena Oil and Gas Limited and Guarantee Petroleum Company Limited in relation to a proposed investment in the Ororo marginal oil field, which is located in Oil Mining Lease 95 (OML 95) in Nigeria. The Company�s wholly owned subsidiaries include Sirius Oil & Gas Limited and Sirius Energy Trading Limited. As of December 31, 2010, the Company owned 50% interest in Sirius Taglient Petro Limited, which is engaged in the oil and gas sector.
