Sportech PLC is an investment holding company. The Company, through its subsidiaries, football pools and associated games, e-gaming, the provision of pari-mutuel wagering services and systems and off-track betting venue management. The Company operates in four segments: Football Pools, Sportech Racing, e-Gaming and corporate costs. It provides football pools and associated games through channels, such as mail, telephone, agent-based collection, retail outlets, third-party licensed betting offices, and through online and digital channels. Sportech Racing is a provision of pari-mutuel wagering services and systems worldwide and and off-track betting venue management. e-Gaming is a portfolio of online casino, poker, bingo and fixed-odds games operated through a range of third-parties. In December 2012, eBet Limited and its 50% joint venture partner sold eBet Online Inc to Sportech PLC.
