SKIL Ports & Logistics Limited is a holding company. It is engaged to develop, own and operate port and logistics facilities in India. Following admission, the Company will commence construction of its initial project, the creation of a port and logistics facility near Navi Mumbai. The site of the Company�s first project is at Karanja Creek, near Navi Mumbai, where it intends to develop and operate a port and logistics complex on approximately 200 acres of land with a sea frontage of approximately 1,000 meters, which will be close to Jawaharlal Nehru Port (JNPT). As of December 31, 2009, the Company held 100% interest in Karanja Terminal & Logistics (Cyprus) Limited (KTLCL) and 99.7% interest in Karanja Terminal and Logistics Private Limited (KTLPL).
