SkyePharma PLC is a speciality drug delivery company developing oral and inhalation products. The principal activities of the Company included the research and development, manufacture and sale of prescription pharmaceutical products. The Company is engaged in the development and manufacture of pharmaceutical products based on information used internally by management to assess the performance of, and allocate resources to the business. The Company�s Geomatrix and Geoclock technologies enable controlled- or timed-release versions of immediate-release products to be developed providing advantages to both partner companies and patients. There are 12 approved products in the areas of oral, inhalation and topical delivery, which incorporate the Company�s technologies. The Company�s subsidiaries include SkyePharma Production SAS, SkyePharma (Jersey) Limited, Jago Holding AG, Jagotec AG, SkyePharma AG, SkyePharma Holding AG and SkyePharma Holding Inc.
