Safeland plc is United Kingdom-based company operating in the property market. The principal activity of the Company consists of property trading, property refurbishment (including redevelopment), property investment and property management. The Company is focused on residential and commercial properties nationwide, but primarily within Greater London. In April 18, 2011, the Company entered into a joint venture agreement with Moorfield Real Estate Fund II to open and operate a chain of hostels called Safestay. The first such centre in Southwark opened on June 28, 2012. The Company�s subsidiaries include Safeland Active Management Limited and Safeland Investments Limited. The Company owns 50% of Grafton Insurance Services Limited (Grafton).
