Resaca Exploitation, Inc. (Resaca) is an independent oil and gas development and production company based in Houston, Texas. Resaca�s activities are focused on the exploitation of its portfolio of properties in the Permian Basin of West Texas and Southeast New Mexico. The Cooper Jal Unit Complex located in Lea County, New Mexico includes 2,541 acres. The Penwell Complex located in Ector and Crane Counties, Texas comprises the Jordan San Andres Unit (1,322 acres), the Jordan San Andres Unit offset acreage (1,375 acres), and the Edwards Grayburg Unit (1,847 acres) for a total of 4,544 acres and produces from the San Andres, Grayburg and Queen formations at depths between 3,000 and 3,600 feet. The Langlie Jal Unit produces from the Seven Rivers and Queen formations. In July 2011, the Company sold of the Grand Clearfork Unit.In August 2011, Resaca acquired the Langlie Jal Unit located in Lea County, New Mexico, near the city of Jal and the Company�s property-the Cooper Jal Unit.
