Rights and Issues Investment Trust P.L.C. is a United Kingdom-based investment trust. The Company�s principal business activity is the management of an investment trust. The Company has one active subsidiary whose principal activity is unit trust management and one dormant subsidiary. The Trust invests in equities with an emphasis on smaller companies. UK smaller companies will normally constitute at least 80% of the investment portfolio. UK smaller companies include both listed securities and those quoted on the Alternative Investment Market (AIM). The Company's subsidiaries include Rights Securities Ltd., which is engaged in investment dealing, and Discretionary Unit Fund Managers Ltd., manages the Discretionary Unit Fund and acts as principal in respect of all transactions of units in the Fund. It also provides fund management and secretarial services.
