Pennon Group Plc and its subsidiaries are engaged in the provision of water and sewerage services, waste management, recycling and renewable energy. The Company�s business is operated through two main subsidiaries: South West Water Limited, which provides water and sewerage services in Devon, Cornwall and parts of Dorset and Somerset, and Viridor Limited, which is engaged in the business of waste management, recycling and renewable energy. The Company�s subsidiaries include South West Water Limited, Viridor (Martock) Limited and Viridor Oxfordshire Limited. In November 2011, it announced that its subsidiary, Viridor Waste Management Limited had acquired JWS Churngold Limited. In July 2012, the Company�s subsidiary, Viridor Waste Management Limited, acquired JWT Holdings Limited. In October 2012, the Company�s subsidiary, Viridor Waste Management Limited acquired Pulp Friction Limited.
