Description
Equatorial Palm Oil Plc (EPO) is engaged in the cultivation of oil palms for the production of crude palm oil and associated products in Liberia. The Company, through its investment in Equatorial Biofuels (Guernsey) Limited, owns a 50% interest in Liberian Palm Developments Limited. During the year ended December 31, 2011, it rehabilitated 3,500 hectares of existing oil palms. During 2011, the Company planted 240,000 oil palm seeds in Palm Bay nursery. Its subsidiaries include Equatorial Biofuels (Guernsey) Limited, Liberian Palm Developments Limited, EPO Liberia, Liberia Forest Products Incorporated and Liberia Agricultural Development Corporation.
