Orsu Metals Corporation (Orsu) is a base and precious metals exploration and development company. The Company�s principal activities are the mineral exploration and development of various license areas within the Republic of Kazakhstan (Kazakhstan) and the Kyrgyz Republic (Kyrgyzstan). As at December 31, 2011, the Company indirectly held 94.75% interest in the Karchiga exploration property in Kazakhstan through its 100% interest in Eildon Enterprises Limited. In addition, the Company has a 40% interest in Talas Copper Gold LLC (TCG LLC) in Kyrgyzstan. The Company�s other exploration interest in Kyrgyzstan is the Akdjol-Tokhtazan exploration license (the Akdjol-Tokhtazan Project). The Talas Project is located within the Tien Shan gold belt in north western Kyrgyzstan. The Akdjol-Tokhtazan Project is located in the Jelal-Abad Oblast, western Kyrgyzstan and consists of two exploration licences, Akdjol and Tokhtazan. It is exploring advanced stage copper, gold and molybdenum deposits.
