Obtala Resources Limited, formerly Obtala Resources plc, is an mineral exploration and investment company. The Company is engaged in the acquisition, exploration and development of mineral resource licences, projects and investment in other natural resources exploration and development companies. It is in the process of production of diamonds, as well as exploration and development of mineral projects, as well as agriculture and forestry. In addition, it undertakes investing activities. In April 2012, the Company terminated the disposal of Ilakon Limited to Solo Oil plc (Solo). On March 16, 2012, the Company acquired Bushveld Resources Limited. In September 2011, it acquired an 85% interest in a private Mozambique registered company. In May 2011, the Company acquired the remaining 54.2% interest in International Diamond Consultants (IDC).
