Melrose Resources plc is an oil and gas exploration, development and production company with interests in Egypt, Bulgaria, Romania, United States, Turkey and France. The Company has 100% interests in two concession areas in northern Egypt and a 40% interest in the Mesaha frontier exploration block in the south of the country. Melrose holds a 100% interest in the Galata Concession, offshore Bulgaria, in the shallow waters of the Black Sea. During 2011, new 3D seismic data was acquired over the under explored central area of the concession. The Company holds a 27.5% of non-operated position in the deep water Rhone Maritime exploration concession off shore Southern France.
