Metro Baltic Horizons plc is a closed-end property investment company. The Company is focusing on direct investment in prime office, residential and retail developments in the capital cities of the Baltic States-although principally Latvia and Estonia- and in St Petersburg, Russia. The Company is investing in and developing land and buildings in the Baltic States and in the St Petersburg area of Russia. During the year ended December 31, 2011, the Company operated in two segments: Pirita Road, Tallinn, Estonia, and Bolshaya Pushkarskaya, St Petersburg, Russia. The Company�s subsidiaries include Metro Baltic Guernsey ltd., Pedragon Investments ltd., Metro Baltic Netherlands B.V. and Goldbrick Investments ltd. In July 2011 the Company lost control of its 80% holding in SIA D Tilts Holdings (and its subsidiary SIA E1 Mart), the entity that owned the Krasta 99 property in Riga, Latvia. In April 2013, it announced the disposal of its St. Petersburg asset.
