McBride plc is engaged in the production, distribution and sale of private label household and personal care products to retailers mainly in the United Kingdom and Continental Europe. The Company has three divisions: the United Kingdom, Western Continental Europe, and Central and Eastern Europe. The United Kingdom business creates, develops and produces household and personal care products for its private label customers. The Western Continental Europe business creates, develops and produces household and personal care products for its Private Label customers in France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, the Netherlands and Scandinavia. The Central and Eastern Europe business creates, develops and produces household and personal care products for retailers in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Southern and Eastern Europe. On August 1, 2012, the Company acquired the remaining 15% interest in Fortlab Holdings Sdn Bhd.
