Laird PLC is a holding company. The Company, through its subsidiaries, is engaged in the design, manufacture and supply of products and services to the electronics industry. The Company operates in two segments: performance materials and wireless systems. Performance Materials segment designs and supplies a range of electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding materials, thermal management solutions and signal integrity products to a range of electronic devices. Wireless Systems segment designs and supplies a range of high specification wireless antennae, and machine-to-machine (M2M) wireless modules for a number of markets, including infrastructure and automotive markets. It has operations in North America, Europe, Asia and Rest of World. On March 31, 2011, the Company acquired Kluver Aggregatebau GmbH. In February 2013, the Company announced that the acquisition of Nextreme Thermal Solutions, Inc.
