Leni Gas and Oil plc (LGO) is engaged in the production and exploration of oil and gas. The Company seeks to identify and acquire a number of projects in the oil and gas sector with particular emphasis on projects that are in production. LGO has secured exploration areas in the United Staes, Gulf of Mexico, Spain, Trinidad and Malta. As of December 31, 2011, LGO held 100% ownership through its subsidiary, Compania Petrolifera de Sedano, in one production concession, La Lora, and three exploration permits; Basconcillos H, Huermeces and Valderredible, in Northern Spain. In October 2012, LGO transferred the Goudron Field Incremental Production Service Contract onshore south-eastern Trinidad from Cameron Oil and Gas Limited to LGO's subsidiary Goudron E&P Limited. In November 2012, the Company sold its assets in the US Gulf of Mexico.
