Kedco plc is engaged in to identify, develop, own, build and operate biomass electricity and heat generation plants in the United Kingdom and Ireland using two tried and tested technologies: gasification of wood and wood waste, and anaerobic digestion of either food or agricultural waste. The Company is also involved in the sale of wood and biomass materials. It has three segments: Power Generation, which is engaged in the supply of technologies, including anaerobic digestion, gasification and biomass heating; Products, which is engaged in the production of sawn timber, realization of wood and the supply of wood chips, and Renewable Energy Solutions, which is engaged in the supply of combined heat and power units, domestic boilers, solar panels and other related products. In December 2012, the Company acquired Reforce Energy Limited.
