Jarvis plc (Jarvis) is a United Kingdom-based support services company, focused on providing the products and services within its rail, plant, freight and facilities management businesses. Jarvis Rail is the rail engineering arm of the business. Jarvis Rail is engaged working with Network Rail. Its freight business is operational and has in service five new class 66 locomotives and more than 100 coal hopper wagons. Jarvis Accommodation Services (JAS) undertakes the Group's facilities management services. JAS operates long term private finance initiative (PFI) contracts, including services within hospitals and day-care centres, fire stations, primary schools, secondary schools and offices. The business provides bespoke services, including planned preventative maintenance of building fabric and mechanical and engineering equipment, reactive maintenance, statutory compliance, insurance inspections, catering, cleaning, production and execution of life cycle plans and variation works.
