The Company is engaged in the design, production and installation of polymer membrane tensile structures for a variety of use, but chiefly roofs and facades for sporting stadia and arenas, airport termini, railway stations, shopping malls and other large area structures and the development and sale of solar cooling systems and the related controllers, to replace electrically powered air conditioning systems. The Company operates in two segments: Membrane Business and Solar Business. The Company�s subsidiaries include Hightex International (HTI) AG, Which is engaged in providing polymer membranes for architectural structures; Hightex GmbH, which designs, consult, supplies, installation and construction of membrane structures; SolarNext AG, which is engaged in the Ownership and exploitation of solar related technologies and Hightex Limited, which is engaged in the Installation and assembly of membrane structures.
