Description
GeoPark Holdings Limited (GeoPark) is engaged in producing, developing and exploring for the oil and gas reserves in Chile and Argentina. It owns and operates six hydrocarbon blocks including the Fell, Otway and Tranquilo Blocks in Chile and the Del Mosquito, Cerro Dona Juana and Loma Cortaderal Blocks in Argentina. Its substantial acreage position with over 3.5 million gross acres (14,326 square kilometres) in Chile. Its oil and gas production is generated from the Fell Block in Chile and the Del Mosquito Block in Argentina. During the year ended December 31, 2011, approximately 99% of its total oil and gas production was produced in Chile and approximately 1% in Argentina. In 2012, GeoPark acquired Winchester Oil and Gas S.A., La Luna Oil Company Limited S.A. and Hupecol Cuerva LLC (Hupecol). In 2013 it entered Brazilian market with a 10% stake in the offshore Manati gas field.
