GPG�s investments in range of sectors include financial services, food processing, building materials, property development and pub operators. Its subsidiaries include GPG (UK) Holdings plc, which is an investment company; Coats plc, which is engaged in thread manufacture; Guinness Peat Group (Australia) Pty Ltd, which is an investment company; CIC Australia Ltd (CIC), which is engaged in property development; Gosford Quarry Holdings Ltd, which is a quarry operator; Touch Holdings Ltd, which is engaged in electronic products and services, and Turners & Growers Ltd (T&G), which is a fresh food wholesaler. In July 2012, it sold its remaining shares in Daniel Thwaites PLC. In February 2013, it completed the sale of its entire shareholding in Capral Ltd and AV Jennings Limited. In February 2013, it ceased to be a substantial shareholder of Tandou Limited.
