Greenko Group plc is a holding company. The Company, along with its subsidiaries, is engaged in developing, owning, and operating clean energy assets in India. As of March 31, 2012, all the energy generated from its plants is sold to Indian State Electricity Boards or under Merchant Power arrangements. The Company operates in generation and sale of electricity and related emission reductions. In March 2012, the Company acquired two additional hydro power assets, one cluster of 32 mega watts, which is operational and the other of 24 mega watts is under development. In November 2012, the Company acquired three hydropower projects in the kangra District of Himachal Pradesh. In December 2012, the Company acquired Sumez 14 MW run-of-river hydro power project.
