Forum Energy plc is engaged in the exploration for, development of, and production from oil and gas assets with a focus on the Philippines. The Company�s asset is a 70% interest in Service Contract 72 (SC72) an 8,800-square kilometer offshore petroleum license situated west of Palawan Island in the West Philippine Sea. The block contains the Sampaguita Gas Discovery. Forum�s interest in NW PALAWAN area is a 2.27% interest in the producing Galoc Field. During the year ended December 31, 2011, Galoc produced a total of 2.4 million barrels. The Company�s Hycalog drilling rig is located in the Central Maya Bulge (CMB) area located in the Northern area onshore SC40 and can be transported through land. It has 66.7% interest in SC 40 (Cebu), a service contract which contains the onshore Libertad Gas Field and Maya discovery and several other prospects, including onshore Jibitnil Island and offshore Central Tanon. It has a 100% interest in Forum Energy Philippines Corporation.
