Exillon Energy plc is an independent oil producer with operations located in two oil-rich regions of northern Russia, Timan-Pechora and West Siberia. The principal activity of the Company and its subsidiaries, Exillon TP and Exillon WS, is the exploration, development and production of oil. Exillon Energy plc has three segments: Exillon WS, Exillon TP and Regional Resources. Exillon TP is an oil company based in the Timan-Pechora basin in the Komi Republic in the Russian Federation. The revenue is derived from extraction and sale of crude oil. Exillon WS is an oil company based in Western Siberia in the Russian Federation. The revenue is derived from extraction and sale of crude oil. Regional Resources is an oil trading company based in Moscow in the Russian Federation. During the year ended December 31, 2010, it had drilled seven wells on Exillon WS. In September 2012, it acquired 100% interest in LLC VenlockNeft.
