Europa Oil & Gas (Holdings) plc (Europa) is engaged in the exploration and production of hydrocarbons in Europe. The principal activity of the Company, along with its subsidiaries, is investment in oil and gas exploration, development and production. Its assets and activities are located in the United Kingdom, France and Romania. Europa�s business consists of three strands: production, appraisal and exploration and these activities take place in three European jurisdictions: the United Kingdom, France and Romania and one in the North African territory of Western Saha0072. Europa holds two licenses in the Aquitaine Basin, adjacent to the Lacq-Meillon gas fields. The Company holds interests in 4 Romanian exploration licenses, with non-operated working interests varying from 17.5% to 28.75%. During the fiscal year ended July 31, 2011 (fiscal 2011), the Company Drilled West Firsby-9 and Barchiz-1 wells.
