ENK PLC, formerly European Nickel PLC, is a nickel laterite development and production company focused on developing its Acoje project in the Philippines. It engaged in the identification, acquisition, development and exploitation of nickel deposits. The Company focuses on two projects, which include Zambales Chromite and The Acoje Deposit in the Philippines. The Acoje deposit is located on Luzon Island in the Philippines, 180 miles (290 kilometres) away from Manila, and covers an area of 3,765 hectares. The deposit has a combined JORC inferred and indicated resource of 50.14 million tones grading 1.08% nickel and 0.05% cobalt. The Zambales Chromite deposit is located five kilometres north of the Acoje project, on Luzon Island in the Philippines. The deposit is 40% owned by ENK, and 60% owned by local Philippine partner, Montemina Resources Corporation The deposit covers an area of 540 hectares and has a JORC inferred resource of 23.5 million tones grading 1.18%nickel and 0.05% cobalt.
