Dee Valley Group plc is principally engaged in the provision of water services to customers in an area of 835 square kilometers, predominantly in north east Wales and west Cheshire, for which the Company is the licensed water supply undertaker. The Company�s operating company is Dee Valley Water plc. Dee Valley Water supplies drinking water to approximately 111,000 households and 8,000 commercial, industrial and business customers. It also provides non-potable water to some industrial customers. The main source of raw water is the River Dee, which provides about 87% of the total requirements. Dee Valley Water is a water-only company. It does not provide sewerage services. The Company�s wholly owned subsidiaries include Dee Valley plc, Dee Valley Water (Holdings) Ltd, Dee Valley Water plc, Dee Valley Services Ltd, North Wales Gas Ltd and Energy Supplies UK Ltd.
