Connemara Mining Company Plc holds interests in zinc/lead and gold exploration assets in Ireland. As of December 31, 2011, the Company held 34 prospecting licenses granted by the exploration and mining division (EMD) in Ireland. This includes Stonepark Block, which includes six contiguous licenses in Limerick; Mine River Block, which includes five contiguous licenses in Counties Wexford and Wicklow; Oldcastle Block, which includes five contiguous licenses located in counties Cavan and Meath; Thurles Block, which includes three contiguous licences in County Tipperary; Newcastle West Block, which includes 10 contiguous licences in Limerick, close to Monaster; Nenagh Block, which includes four contiguous licences in County Tipperary and Castlemaine Block, which includes a single licence located in County Kerry.
