Description
City of London Group plc is an investment company, which invests in a portfolio of available for sale assets, legal funds and operating investments. The Company operates through four segments: general investment, fund management, trade finance and investment in legal funds. As of March 31, 2011, it had 16 subsidiaries. On February 16, 2011, the Company, through its subsidiary Professions Funding Limited, acquired 99.96% interest in SHF Legal Funding Limited. During the fiscal year ended March 31, 2011,(fiscal 2011), the Company acquired City of London Clearing House Limited, Credit Asset Management Limited, City of London Law Funding Limited and Array Management Limited. On August 22, 2012, the Company completed the sale of FX Capital Group Limited. On April 5, 2013, it sold Fundamental Tracker Investment Management Limited (FTIM).
