The Company has a portfolio of gold and base metal assets in Mauritania and Ethiopia. The Company operates in the United Kingdom, Mauritania and Ethiopia. The Company is has exploration programs across its portfolio, which includes three gold and base metal licenses totaling 1,902 square kilometers in the Mauritanide belt of Mauritania. The Company is also operating in Ethiopia, where it holds the 945 square kilometers Wayu Boda Gold Project located in the central-southern Adola greenstone belt, and the 1,953 square kilometers Aysid-Metekel gold license in the Aysid-Metekel region of north western Ethiopia. On May 20, 2011, the Company acquired Nubian Gold Exploration Limited. On November 22, 2011, the Company acquired Rift Valley Resources Limited.
