Air China Limited is principally engaged in the provision of air passenger transportation, air freight transportation and air mail transportation services. The Company operates international, domestic, as well as Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan airlines. During the year ended December 31, 2011, the Company transported approximately 69.6917 million passengers, and approximately 1,426,086.62 tons of cargo and mail. As of December 31, 2011, the Company operated scheduled airlines in 30 countries and regions, including 43 overseas cities, 96 domestic cities and four regions, the Company had 432 aircrafts for air passenger, cargo and mail transportation services.
