Amiad Water Systems Ltd, formerly Amiad Filtration Systems Ltd, is an Israel-based company. The Company is a producer and worldwide supplier of water filters and filtration systems used in two key markets, being the industrial and municipal market and the irrigation market. The Company specialises in automatic self-cleaning filters. The Company offers a full line of filtration solutions, including plastic, steel, disk or thread; manual to fully automatic; filtration levels from 3500 microns to 2 microns. The Company�s filters are in use in 70 countries around the world, in applications that include agricultural and landscape irrigation, aquaculture, industrial water processing, industrial wastewater treatment, municipal water treatment (drinking and waste treatment) and prefiltration to protect media and reverse-osmosis systems. In February 2011, it acquired the remaining 34% interest in Amiad France SARL. In September 2011, the Company formed Amiad Sistemas de Agua LTDA.
