Active Energy Group PLC is a United Kingdom-based company. The Company is engaged in the sale of voltage optimization equipment and the provision of specialist engineering services. The Company operates in four segments: Voltage Correction, Gas Ignition, Engineering and Biomass. Voltage Correction division Active Energy Limited markets and sells the VoltageMaster a device that adjusts voltage distributed throughout a commercial building. Gas Ignition division manufactures and distributes gas ignition systems for gas appliances such as hot water boilers, hobs and stoves. Engineering division consists of its engineering services. Biomass division consists of its Ukranian woodchip operations and is involved in the sourcing, processing and sale of woodchip and related products. On April 26, 2011, the Company acquired Redline Engineering Services Ltd. On November 21, 2011, it acquired Bioenhero-Leader Ltd.
