PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (Persero) Tbk (PGN) is state-owned gas and energy company in Indonesia. The Company's principal activities are the distribution and transmission of natural gas. For the distribution business, PGN signs long-term supply agreements with upstream operators, which give the Company scheduled and reliable gas volumes and fixed gas prices. The above volumes are subsequently sold to household, commercial and industrial customers. The distribution network and facilities are managed by four strategic business units, each consisting of a number of districts. On the transmission business, PGN transports gas through transmission networks from upstream suppliers to end users. The Company has three subsidiaries, PT Transportasi Gas Indonesia, PGN Euro Finance 2003 Limited and PT PGAS Telekomunikasi Nusantara, which are engaged in gas transmission, finance sector and telecommunication industry, respectively.
