The Western Labrador represents a part of the circum Superior region, which includes the prolific nickel-copper-platinum group element deposits at Sudbury, Ontario; Thompson, Manitoba, and Raglan, Quebec. Western Labrador is host to three mafic magmatic events with known nickel-copper-cobalt-platinum group element (Ni-Cu-Co-PGE) mineralization: the Ossok Mountain Suite, the Shabogamo Suite and the Michikamau Intrusion. The Michikamau Property (Property) is situated within the Michikamau layered gabbro-anorthosite (troctolite) intrusion and represents a conceptual and empirical exploration target for Voisey�s Bay type mineralization.
