Batero Gold Corporation is an exploration stage company. The Company together with its subsidiaries is engaged in the exploration and development of mineral property interests in Colombia. The Company is in the process of exploring and evaluating its mineral properties. The Company focuses on its Batero-Quinchia Project. The Batero-Quinchia project is located within the Municipality of Quinchia, Department of Risaralda, Republic of Colombia, approximately 55 kilometers to the north of the regional capital, Pereira. The property consists of a 1,407.43 hectare tenement and is supported with infrastructure including roads, water and power. The Batero-Quinchia Property consists of two underlying exploration licenses and one concession contract located in Colombia. During the fiscal year ended August 31, 2012, the Company drill program consisted of 35 holes over 4,947 metres.
