Omaxe Limited is engaged in real estate and infrastructure businesses. The Company operates in three segments. Real estate segment includes promotion, construction, development and sale of townships, residential, commercial property, developed plots. Construction segment includes construction of property on behalf of clients. The trading business, which was not reportable segment during the fiscal year ended March 31, 2012 (fiscal 2012), have been grouped under the others segment. As of March 31, 2012, the Company delivered 11 group housing projects in India that span across 8.30 million square feet and delivered 11 malls and commercial centers across various cities. In fiscal 2012, 19 projects were under execution, including two hi-tech townships covering a total area of 93 million square feet. In January 2013, the Company purchased 50% voting right by way of purchase of the Omaxe Azorim Developers Private Limited.
