Carpentaria Exploration Limited (Carpentaria) is an Australia-based company engaged in mineral exploration. The Company is focused on discovering and developing bulk commodities, base metals and precious metals in eastern Australia. Carpentaria has interests in iron ore, gold, tungsten, tin, copper and nickel projects. The Company operates in single segment, being the exploration, development, and production of minerals. All of the Company�s areas of operation are located in Australia. The Company has 100% interest in Hill Tin-Tungsten Project, Barellan, Temora, Koonenberry, Tooloom, Glen Isla and McDougalls/Torrowangee. The Company discoveries include Hawsons Iron Project (60%) and Euriowie (100%). The Company also holds 100% interest in ELs 7655, 7656, 7657, 7741 and ELA 4148 of the McDougalls /Torrowangee - Iron. During the fiscal year June 30, 2012, Carpentaria also withdrew from the Panama Hat Joint Venture and divested the Hughenden Coal Project.
