The Company operates in two segments: Machine Tools and Precision Engineered Components, and Laser Marking. On July 16, 2012, the Company sold 600 SA Pty Limited, its wholly owned subsidiary in South Africa, where this business sold mechanical and waste handling equipment into sub-Saharan Africa. In September 2012, it sold its subsidiary in Poland, FMT, to G.D.W. Werkzeugmaschinen Herzogenaurach GmbH. On December 27, 2012, the Company sold its Heckmondwike freehold site.
