Description
EnCore Oil Plc (EnCore) is a United Kingdom-based company. The Company, along with its subsidiaries, is principally engaged in exploration and production of oil and gas. It also provides management and technical services to its subsidiaries. The Company operates in the United Kingdom Offshore and Onshore, and Overseas. During the fiscal year ended June 30, 2010 (fiscal 2010), it drilled one well and two side-tracks. As of June 30, 2010, the Company has drilled 13 wells. As of June 30, 2010, it had interests in 11 offshore licenses on the United Kingdom Continental Shelf, and held two licenses in the offshore Ireland. The Company also holds a production sharing contract for one block in the offshore Western Sahara. In August 2009, the Company completed the sale of 15% interest in the Breagh field offshore United Kingdom to RWE Dea UK SNS Limited. In January 2012, Premier Oil plc acquired the Company.
