Sunridge Gold Corp. (Sunridge) is engaged in the business of acquiring, exploring, and developing base and precious mineral properties. The Company focuses on exploring its three exploration licenses located near Asmara in Eritrea, northeast Africa and one exploration property in Madagascar. Sunridge has 100% ownership of three exploration licenses; the Medrizien, Adi Nefas and Debarwa licenses, that consists of the Asmara Project, Eritrea. The Debarwa copper-gold-zinc deposit is located at the southern part of the Asmara Project on the Debarwa exploration license. The Emba Derho, Adi Nefas and Gupo resources are grouped towards the northern part of the exploration licenses and are collectively known as the Asmara North projects. The Besakoa property covers over 60 square kilometers and is located in south central Madagascar. In May 2011, the Company completed a 4,500 meter reverse-circulation drill program on Gupo Gold deposit.
