FTSE inches higher, Tesco slumps after profit warning
LONDON (Reuters) - Britain's top share index ended slightly higher on Friday, with stronger pharmaceutical stocks on renewed merger and acquisition talks outpacing a sharp decline in retail stocks after another profit warning by Tesco.
