LONDON Britain's shopping streets, out-of-town malls and websites will be awash with discounted goods on Friday as shoppers chase "Black Friday" deals in a spending frenzy expected to top last year's record level.
TOKYO Asian shares held firm and U.S. stock futures edged higher in early trade on Friday as expectations of additional stimulus from the European Central Bank underpinned appetite for riskier assets, while the euro hovered near seven-month lows.
Black Friday starts for many retailers online at midnight on November 27, with high street stores opening their doors from 5 and 6am.
