Description

The Brink’s Company, conducts business in the security industry, principally through its wholly owned subsidiary Brink’s, Incorporated (Brink’s). Brink’s is a provider of secure transportation, cash logistics and other security-related services to banks and financial institutions, retailers, government agencies, mints, jewelers and other commercial operations worldwide. On October 31, 2008, the Company completed the spin-off of Brink’s Home Security Holdings, Inc. (BHS). In September 2009, the Company acquired a majority stake in ICD Limited, a provider of commercial security services in the Asia-Pacific region. ICD designs, installs, maintains and manages commercial security systems. With principal operations in China, ICD also has offices in Hong Kong, India, Singapore and Australia. In September 2009, the Company also acquired an additional 38% stake in Brink's Arya, a cash handling and secure logistics company, based in Mumbai, India, increasing its stake in Brink's Arya to 78%.
