Beer drinkers might want to try and bag this Moose. Moosehead Brewery is one of the largest beer makers in Canada and the largest brewery in that country not owned by international interests. Its portfolio of labels include Alpine, Dry Ice, and Clancy's Amber Ale, as well as several sold under the Moosehead brand. The company sells beer in more than a dozen international markets in addition to Canada. Family-owned Moosehead Brewery traces its roots to 1867, the year Canada became a country, when British immigrant Susannah Oland began selling home brew from her grandmother's recipe.
