It also offers industrial health and safety services; radiological/industrial hygiene instrumentation rental, calibration, and repair; and waste and material management and disposal. Its mobile emergency response unit handles chemical, biological, or radioactive hazards. Safety and Ecology has offices across the US and in the UK. Perma-Fix Environmental Services acquired Safety and Ecology for $19.4 million in 2011.
