Some folks just seem to have moviemaking in their genetic makeup. DNA Films is the movie company that produced the hits 28 Days Later and Love, Actually (in partnership with fellow UK production house Working Title Films). The company also has a close relationship with Fox Searchlight Pictures; DNA Films has historically supplied many titles to the Fox Filmed Entertainment "indie film" unit, which has historically handled DNA Film's global distribution. DNA Films was founded by Duncan Kenworthy and Andrew Macdonald in 1997. (Macdonald is the producer of high profile films such as The Beach and Trainspotting.)
