What does the Queen like to watch on TV these days? Think the Royal Television Society knows? Maybe not. The Royal Television Society (RTS) is a membership organization that comprises UK television executives and industry professionals. The RTS organizes conventions, conferences, dinners, and lectures that act as a forum for media. The group also provides its members with the means to network both in person and online. In addition, RTS publishes the aptly titled monthly magazine Television. The Royal Television Society membership organization was founded in 1927 -- practically at the dawn of the TV age -- as the Television Society. It took on its Royal moniker in 1966.
