Seed 'em, weed 'em and feed 'em could be the motto of San Francisco's Wilbur-Ellis Co. (aka WECO). Through its agribusiness division, WECO sells fertilizer, herbicides, insecticides, seed, and farm machinery in North America. The Connell Bros. unit exports and distributes food ingredients and specialty chemicals throughout the Pacific Rim. Its feed division serves international customers in the livestock, pet food, and aquaculture industries. Additionally, WECO provides consulting, pesticide application, and other agriculture-related services. Beyond North America, WECO has operations in about 15 countries in the Asia-Pacific Region. WECO was founded in 1921 by Brayton Wilbur Sr. and Floyd Ellis.
