Heritage Golf Group acquires high-quality private, resort and daily-fee facilities throughout major markets in the US and manages the course properties. The company's portfolio includes about 15 private, daily fee, semi-private, and resort facilities with golf courses in Florida, Georgia, Michigan, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Texas. Included in its portfolio are golf properties on South Carolina's Hilton Head Island. Company president and CEO James "Bob" Husband started the firm in 1999 with funding of $100 million from private equity firm GTCR Golder Rauner, LLC.
